For thousands of years, civilizations all across the world have depended on their faith in spiritual or mystical powers to do truly incredible deeds. Long before modern medicine, most health problems were treated with a dose of spirituality, voodoo, witchcraft, astrology, or psychic power from a variety of paranormal sources. Without the assistance of the invisible world, one just could not get through the day. Of course, this was before the wonders of modern science enlightened us. But is it wise for people today to dismiss anything that worked for so many people for so long?
People who believe in the paranormal, occult, magic, psychics, or new-age treatments are often made fun of in a world where traditional religion is often mocked. Some people call them misguided kooks or blind followers of the popular Hollywood scene and counterculture of today. But it’s in our nature as humans to look for the truth and ways out of the problems we face. And, let’s face it, today’s world is loaded with day-to-day concerns that we seek to overcome, such as love, money, and health, to mention a few. Millions of people all over the world try to solve their problems and find relief by turning to magic spells. Simply search eBay for love spells or magic spells. For a few dollars, you may find an unending supply of psychics and spellcasters that can make your troubles disappear or bring you fantastic outcomes. Do you find that amusing? It will get better. When asked, the majority of people who buy these spells will tell you that they actually work.
So, how can a psychic love spell genuinely attract a soulmate to a lonely person looking for a love partner? Was that money spell effective in getting that struggling secretary a job promotion and a raise? What about the healing magic that relieved my neighbor’s back pain? Unbelievers will almost certainly point to coincidence, some form of rational explanation, or just credit the results to mind over matter. Those who believe in psychic powers and the paranormal world, on the other hand, believe that there must be a spiritual or metaphysical helping hand at work.
I believe there is a lot more to this than meets the eye. Most mainstream religions recognize the efficacy of prayer as a means of receiving spiritual benefits, protection, and goodness. Even medical specialists are beginning to recognize that a person’s faith and beliefs can have a significant impact on their quality of life and health. While many doctors would concede that holistic and alternative therapies have some usefulness, you’ll be hard-pressed to find any who will publicly recommend seeking answers from a psychic or magic spell.
Going to a fortune teller, psychic, or spell caster has long carried a stigma that prevents people from readily accepting their services. The psychic industry, as an industry, has contributed to much of this distrust. Many people associate psychics with shoddy late-night television infomercials for psychic readings, con artists, or carnival fortune tellers. Consider how astrology and other psychic-related advertisements include a brief warning at the bottom that states “for entertainment purposes only.” Isn’t it about as bogus as pro wrestling? Don’t be too quick to agree, though.
More people than you realize use money or love spells on a regular basis in an attempt to repair a broken relationship or obtain financial independence. And they come from all walks of life, occupations, socioeconomic backgrounds, religious affiliations, and nationalities. Sure, some people rely too heavily on psychics for guidance and assistance, but the majority of them are firm believers in the occult and would not have it any other way. They’ll tell you that these spells work for them, that their lives have been improved, and that you’re the fool who chooses to miss out on something fantastic.
People frequently ask me, “Are these spells real?” Can they really make things happen that I couldn’t do on my own? If spells can achieve what they promise (increase love life, attract more money, improve gambling luck), then the answer has to be yes. A spell that does what it is designed to do must be genuine. Of course, having a positive attitude and believing that the spell can actually help you will help. However, for a spell to be effective, it must be genuine. Those who refuse to consider the possibility of magic spells and spiritual answers, according to believers, will never know what they are missing. Perhaps unbelievers are experiencing mind over matter, but their perspective is narrowly placed on the opposite extreme of the belief scale.
Why limit your experience to only what you can see and touch? After all, you don’t always get what you see.
