Making a Dowsing Pendulum

For spiritual inquiries, a pendulum is a highly helpful communication instrument. It can be used for divination and dowsing when combined with a chart.

On the market, there are commercial pendulums. They can typically be purchased from stores that sell metaphysical or new-age items. These stores, however, are not common and might be challenging to locate. As an alternative, pendulums can be purchased online from stores.

Making a do-it-yourself (DIY) dowsing pendulum is the topic of this article. You can choose to create your own pendulum if you want to save some money or if you cannot find any commercial pendulums.

A pendulum is actually rather simple to construct. The numerous components of a pendulum produced for commerce can always be replaced.

Any moderately heavy object can be used to create the pendulum bob. I wear pendants with arrow shapes. In reality, you can even use the smaller fishing weights. However, because certain pendants are more aesthetically pleasing than fishing weights, I greatly like them. Shops that sell fashion accessories provide pendants. In terms of where to find fishing weights, both huge department stores and shops that sell fishing gear carry them.

They can get the chain from stores that sell fashion accessories like necklaces and chains. The best type is metal. No more than a foot should be attached to the chain. I believe that between 1/2 and 3/4 of a foot is quite excellent.

All that’s left to do is put the pieces together once we have them. There is typically a loop or ring at the apex of the pendant or fishing weight. One end of the chain must be threaded through the ring (or loop) at the pendulum bob’s tip (which is either a pendant or fishing weight).

Most chains typically consist of a lot of tiny metallic rings. We might need to pry apart one of the metallic rings (at one end of the chain) in order to fit the pendulum bob’s loop or ring through it. The metallic ring (on the chain) will then need to be repositioned to return to its initial closed-looped state. For these fine handiworks, a long-nose plier is ideal.

That’s all there is to building a dowsing pendulum. Quite straightforward, huh?
